Keeping in theme with my mystic fortune teller series/project I decided to produce a oil painting of a crystal ball with an all seeing eye within it. Within this painting I wanted the viewer of the artwork to feel watching by the eye and maybe even made feel somewhat uncomfortable to show the dark side of 'magic' or fortune telling. I also wanted there to be a lot of contrast so that's why i decided to make the background black and do a purple glow around the crystal ball but also to make it seem like there is a glowing veil around it as well.
