Artist Talk - Adam McDade

Adam McDade is a tattoo artist who actually studied illustration and design at Sunderland University and is currently going on to do a PhD as well. In his talk, Adam said he has a habit of over complicating tattoo designs for different areas of the body and also by trying to add his own unique style into the design as well. However, he created a process to work around that. To help him stop over complicating his drawings, he will first create them with his left hand and then afterwards will outline them with his right hand. He will then finish off the piece on Photoshop. As well as that to help get a further look inside of his work and research, he will look at three points. Overall, Adam's talk was rather information and helped me learn how to work around challenging situations and problems within my own artwork and research.
