Now Van Gogh might not specialise in landscape paintings as he covered a spectrum of subjects, such a portraits, still lifes and even self portraits but that doesn’t mean he didn’t paint a few landscape paintings as well. His paintings are some of the most eye-catching pieces I’ve seen with the bold and vivid colours, and the dramatic and expressive brushwork techniques. All of them aspects which are inspiring and help contribute ideas towards my project.
