Roy Lichtenstein

Writer's picture: Chloe HamiltonChloe Hamilton

So, I couldn't look at Andy Warhol for my artist inspiration/research without also looking at Roy Lichtenstein as they were both considered the leaders of the Pop Art movement. The technique he used to create his work is truly magnificent, he used a lot of stencils, mainly used primary coloured acrylic paint, thick black outlines and Benday dots to make his hand-made art look like it was machine made.
