I first started this module wanting to do psychedelic patterns but then had a quick change of mind to look at mystical fortune tellers which I've always been interested in but never plucked up the courage to draw or paint human faces. However, I quickly overcame that by painting eyes and learning how to correctly proportionate the human face, in this project I also looked at items that fortune tellers use but mainly focused on the fortune teller themselves. I stuck to most of my negotiated learning plan as i learnt how to use an under-painting to create warmer and cooler undertones within my paintings. I also stuck with my surrealistic style as i rather enjoyed creating the paintings with that certain style, i also learned to create better compositions when trying to bring an idea in my head to life. However, when it came to creating wire hands they didn't work out to my expectations and i unfortunately scrapped them as they resembled nothing like a hand. I also thought some of my time management was rather poor in this project, some due to personal reasons but none the less it could have been a lot better. As well as that, I wish I experimented more with sculpture, such as perhaps creating a clay hand.
Overall, I've rather enjoyed doing this project as I've pushed myself out of my comfort zones into trying a new style that I haven't painted before and also never painted a human face. I've learnt a lot about myself during this project too.
