Gavin Turk

I am looking at Gavin Turk as a specific piece of his was recommended to be a lecturer at university. The piece of his that i was recommended was the fourteen minute long film 'The Mechanical Turk' which was created in 2006. I feel like this piece was suggested to me, one because of the way the 'mechanical turk' was dressed, as it reminds me of the style of the old robotic fortune tellers. Secondly, because it could give me inspiration to create something different for my methodology project such as a video or perhaps a performance instead.
