Brian Calvin

Brian Calvin was an artist suggested to me by one of my university lecturers mainly because my methodology project includes the human face. Brian is an influential contemporary the American painter who is known for his large-scale, stylised portraits of women. Even though I want faces in my project to be more a classical or surrealistic style I do take great inspiration from Brian's colour palette he uses within his woman portraits.
